  • you get your money’s worth!

this app is a great deal! it’s $10 a month, but that includes all of the books that you can read; you don’t have to purchase each individual book as you do with the amazon version!

I was so excited to be able to listen to unlimited audiobooks and the selection could be better but it’s not bad. The problem that I am having is listening to the books. It will go along fine for a chapter or two but then jumps ahead a few chapters and when I try to go back I will select a chapter, say chapter 8 and it will say “chapter 6” when chapter 8 is shown as selected. Not sure if this is an easy fix but it’s really frustrating. Would really like to love this app but it’s not there yet.

  • Easily one of the most valuable apps I’ve found

Next to my podcast app and Blinkist, this app allows me to listen to as many books as I can, so I can go through books like wildfire! I mostly read self-help books like ‘act like a success, think like a success’ by Steve Harvey, and with this app I can go back to back with books to keep my mind working and my drive and motivation up. I’m super excited to see what other books they add on their reading lists, and hopefully soon they’ll add a suggestions page (maybe they already have one, I haven’t really looked into it or thought about it till just now 😅)
  • Otto app

The first day after they get my money everything works perfectly. The second day all I can do is listen to the sample and hear music for the book I started.

It’s really nice to listen too when ur on the go. My life is very busy so to enjoy my books while I’m cooking driving and also crocheting. Can’t get any better than this.
  • Can’t beat Otto!

Access to read any book I want? As many books as I want? Love it! The price is WELL WORTH IT! Makes Audible obsolete.
  • Can’t completely replace Audible

    By Kdparson1234
My biggest complaints right now are that you can’t speed up past 1.5x....after using audible and easily listening to 2x+ Otto sounds so slow to me and I can’t read as many books. Also, this app isn’t compatible with Apple Car Play which makes me so sad and means I can’t completely replace Audible with this app. Personally I think the library is AWESOME. They don’t have every book but they have most of them and plenty to keep you reading for a lifetime. It’s kind of weird how they split chapters. The book I’m reading now has made 5 minute chapters of the book and there’s no easy way to see how many hrs/minutes you are in a book. Knowing your progress is important I feel.

I jumped at the chance to listen to more books for less. I have audible and could easily listen to 3-4 books a month, so this seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately, it’s lacking some key features which make Audible so great. For one, they should add the ability to bookmark your location. I often use the sleep timer and it’s frustrating to have to try and find your place again the next morning. Also, the playback is not very smooth even when I have all of the chapters of a book downloaded. For example, in the most recent book I listened to, each “chapter” was short, and was only a part of each book chapter, so every few minutes I’d have to wait a bit while the music played before the next track would start playing. I’d also have to agree with other reviews which say the selection is not up to par with Audible. I don’t mind that I wouldn’t have the downloads forever like with Audible, but do mind that the selection is limited. Overall, it’s an ok app, but without improvements I’ll probably switch back over to Audible.
