  • Great App When Working

    App freezes a lot. Plays songs with no sound. Happens on cellular connection and WiFi. When it’s working though, great music app!
  • Currently stealing money from me

    I opened a Tidal account on 4/28 to try it out thinking, ‘What do I have to lose? It’s a free 30-day trial!’ I realized it wasn’t really anything special, so I cancelled my subscription on 5/23, five days before the end of the free trial period... They’ve been charging me for two months. For a subscription that I don’t even have. They refuse to stop stealing money out of my account and refuse to refund the money that they’ve already stolen. Now I have to go down to my bank and close my account and file for fraudulent charges. If you really want to try it, go for it. But just beware, they’re out here illegally taking money from people.
  • Maybe it’s me?

    Several friends told me that I need to switch from Spotify to better support artists on Tidal. So I downloaded the app to try it but I cannot get any music to play… Like ever. I have unlimited data, so this shouldn’t be an issue. I even turn off my Wi-Fi connection so it doesn’t search for Wi-Fi, which is what lots of apps will do before streaming. Still I press play and nothing happens. Just the spinning wheel or a pulsing “T.” I’m using an Apple iPhone 8. Everything is updated. The volume is all the way up on my device as well as the app. I tried it in different parts of town, with various signal levels, on different days. And I literally have gotten three songs to play in all the time I’ve had it. I’ve got three weeks left before I’m charged and am thinking I’ll just stick with Spotify for all the trouble. Sorry artists, but you don’t get paid either way if I can’t play your music.

    If you already have a song on your playlist, could you let the user know before adding the song again? This would be very helpful since have to keep track over hundred songs on my playlist.

    I’m not sure what’s going on with the app but every time it’s time to renew my subscription and it makes me sign back in again. I lose all my playlist, my downloaded, and my save music! This is really mind racking and when I try to go back to the songs that.... uuuhghhh! I’m not supposed to have these problems with your app. You guys, get it fixed so I don’t have to switch to a different one because I really love the app thanks guys

  • Used to be great, not so much now.

    I’ve used tidal for 3 years and loved it. I felt it was a little more expensive than some of the other streaming platforms, but it had everything I wanted to listen to. Until now. Now literally nothing with stream. Not on cellular data. Not on WiFi. It continuously loads. I’ll be cancelling my membership as I’ve basically wasted a whole month and a half paying for this service already.
  • Better than I thought it would be

    I love Tidal. I don’t even think of getting another streaming service. Only issue I have is that it will not let me turn of the shuffle on my playlist. That’s super annoying. Especially when I take the time to put things in order.
