  • Not as good as it was

    By sfrewin
The app has been pretty good up until the last couple of releases. I’ve been using it for several years. My only complaint is the audio reporting and the visual reporting don’t match. The audio reports speeds .1 mph faster than the recorded visual speed. It’s disappointing when after a ride you look at the recorded speed and it doesn’t match. Come on developers fix it!

This is one of the awesome free apps out there indeed . Love it
  • Three rides and three failed activities tracked.

    By B8con
I have used this app for three separate rides and each time I hit start, I check that is recording only to find when I finish the ride nothing is logged. First time I thought it was me, so the second time I put my phone in a bag after locking the phone. Third time I had the phone mounted to my handle bars. Each time same result. Sorely disappointed.
  • Love this App

I love how this app syncs with My Fitness App, and how you have all the data from your ride at your fingertips!
  • Nice App but

This app really needs to catch up and add Apple Watch support allowing option to pick info displayed on the status screen and enable mirroring on the iPhone. Would also be nice to have larger buttons on the screen and watch to make it easier to select options while you’re moving.
  • Inconsistent

One ride it doesn’t record speed, the next speed works and HR doesn’t, then voice coaching, then today route and distance. Thinking I need to move on.

I’ve been using MapMyRide since January 2012, compiling almost 12,000 miles of cycling in the southeastern USA. The software was very helpful in understanding the circumstances of a hit-and-run accident I suffered 3 miles from the end of the 455-mile Natchez Trace Parkway in October 2017.
  • Not happy!

When you go to pick your activity, you did have one for “mowed the lawn”. What happened?!?!
  • Stopped working properly for no apparent reason

    By Vincent Minuto
This app used to wear a great. I’ve been using the free version for a couple of years now, but all of a sudden it just stopped working. I mean the tracking is very inconsistent. It seems to pause on its own. I’ve checked the settings, and it’s not set to auto pause. But for some reason it seems like when my phone goes into screen saver mode, the app stops tracking me. When it worked, it was great. But now that it doesn’t work, it’s useless to me. For your information I’m using an iPhone 6 Plus. I know the phone is a little bit older, so maybe that’s the problem.
  • Works great

Love using the app for tracking my calories burned and it syncs to my fitness pal food tracker. I’ve been using for several years, never have issues.
