  • AT&T is trash

Since they introduced the “next plan” they figured out how to stay in business. Making lousy $10-20 payments for a phone only to end up paying $800-1200 when your set and done! Buyers beware don’t buy from AT&T and always shop on eBay for a new phone! Att is horrible service and turned into a circus when you visit an att store! Bad dressed people looking like they rolled out bed!
  • Honestly does a decent job

I had my doubts when I downloaded it. But it’s actually helped lower the number of unwanted calls. And there’s no need to pay for the enhanced services. Quite a bit of the fraud and spam calls are being blocked automatically. If the phone does actually ring through and it says suspected telemarketer, I block it manually and if the slammer leaves a message I try to report to ATT what the spam or fraud is about. The more we report the numbers the bigger the database is. The app is not going to block everything for you. And do not call lists are a joke. Most spammers aren’t going to play by any rules. And most scams originate from outside the country. But give this app a try, the free version costs you nothing and can help your situation.
  • Great App! 👍🏻

Since the FCC won’t stop the telemarketers, etc. I’m glad the cell providers are giving it a go. Just don’t bother paying for the reverse look-up. All it told me was the state, which I already knew, since I recognized the area codes. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I do not normally write reviews unless something is either truly awesome, truly crap, or the seller bugs me about doing so. This app went from the first category to the second with the last update, which added “in app purchases”, and cannot be uninstalled, apparently. The remove function of iTunes is greyed out, and the AT&T online remove feature doesn’t seem to work to allow the app to be removed from the phone. Why do I want to remove it? After the update, it doesn’t want to start without registering my phone with an unknown entity. AT&T knows my phone #, so why does an alleged AT&T app need to ask for it? Highly suspect actions breed distrust in a supposed “security” app. Inability to remove said suspicious app only doubles done on distrust. I actually liked the app for the most part, although it missed the mark in several areas. For example, if a number makes multiple calls while the first is still ringing, it should be able to add a block without the user having to unlock the phone to run the app. And, AT&T should be able to detect that behavior and tag those numbers as “suspected spam” without user intervention.

So far this app is working very well.
  • App isn’t doing its job.

I’ve received tons of calls again from random numbers including telemarketers. Why do I have to be the one to manually block them I thought that was what the app did. Getting old fast!!!

Every time i click the app i have to verify my number. Now i can’t verify at all. Worked well for a day.
  • Generally works

Unfortunately it doesn't always have the number marked as spam yet so they go through but overall it works well.
